The British Fashion Council have announced the lucky designers that’ll be receiving a well-deserved NEWGEN sponsorship! Supported by Topshop, here’s eight of London’s brightest emerging talents….

 CSM graduate Faustine Steinmetz is a très talented parisian designer known for her handwoven, handmade versions of denim goods….Faustine is one of the lucky four receiving presentation Sponsorship!
Young Irish designer, Danielle Romeril has a name you’ll need to remember! Romeril has gained experience with the likes of Alberta Ferretti & Sharon Waucho, and describes her aesthetic as being relaxed, youthful and vibrant. She’s received a well earned presentation sponsorship!


After learning to knit at age 10, Lo came to London when he was just 16 to do his foundation BA. Ryan has also been awarded with presentation sponsorship – you go Ryan Lo Lo!!


Design duo Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida have been presented with catwalk presentation! Their signature aesthetic radiates raw, youthful effortless-ness. Denim is a key material – preferably baggy, frayed and worn by a chilled out 90′s chick.


“Purity. Restraint. Substance.” Paula Gerbase’s tailoring background is apparent from the beautifully cut collections of 1205. Her designs focus on a strong, unisex look, all developed from carefully thought-out fabrics.  She’ll be joining the NEWGEN crew with catwalk sponsorship.


Brazilian born designer Lucas Nascimento is a master of knitwear. His precise, technical ways produce unexpected silhouettes and textures that are definitely worthy of NEWGEN catwalk sponsorship!




Gothic princess Claire Barrow is known for her DIY punky vibes and beautiful painted leather garms. Previously a Fashion East gal, Claire is now on board the NEWGEN team with exhibition sponsorship!
